Chantix was a miracle drug for me as well. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years and quit within the first couple of weeks on Chantix. It totally takes away any pleasure you get from smoking and just breaks it down to ingesting smoke from a flaming white tube of tobacco. It makes it completely unnatractive, offensive even. I would have done this 20 years ago had it been available. I also have a long history of emotional problems and take daily anit depressants and anti anxiety medication. I had zero side effects and feel better than ever! It is definitely worth the chance of a few bad dreams or tummy aches.

Well as for me a 35 year at least 1 pack a day smoker with asthma and now advanced COPD Chantix was a miracle. I was able to quit smoking last year on May 20, 2008 after a week of being on the drug. I quit with a girlfriend of mine and she was also a long time smoker. Sometimes the benefits do outweigh the risks and I'm glad I continued. I had vivid dreams and some nausea. I just passed the 9 month mark!
